When a searcher enters a city/state or zip code into the Dealer Locator at the MyHeatingCoolingPros.com website, described below is how results are determined based on the criteria entered. Repeated searches of the same criteria will demonstrate the randomization logic employed in determining results.

Within 10 miles of search criteria: TCS dealers are listed first in random order, then non-TCS dealers are listed second, also in random order.

If there are no dealers within 10 miles of criteria: Only the three closest dealers from 10 to 30 miles are shown with preference to TCS dealers (randomized) and then non-TCS dealers (randomized)

If there are no dealers within 30 miles of criteria: Only the three closest dealers in the 30-100 mile range will be shown with preference to TCS dealers (randomized) and then non-TCS dealers (randomized)

The green pushpin in the map allows the searcher to visually identify the dealer closest to them on the map since all dealers listed in the search results are shown. If a city and state are entered as the search criteria, the pushpin will be on the city entered. If a zip code is entered, the pushpin will appear centered on the geographic area represented by that zip code.
